History

1995
Dipl.-Ing. Uwe Lindner founded the LinTech GmbH. Formerly Uwe Lindner acted
as manager of the Loewe ISCOM GmbH and the AVS GmbH.

1996
Launching of the ISDN PC cards of the “ELKA“-family which offers interesting
applications and distinguishes itself by a well-balanced price-performance-ratio.
The ELKA users are e.g. from the pharmaceutical industry (data communication
according to the MSV2 protocol between drugstores and the pharmaceutical
wholesalers) or of the transportation (e.g. operational center of the German
Railways).

1998
Development and integration of ISDN- and GSM-protocol software to existing
systems. First cooperation contracts with the manufacturers Nokia, Ericsson, IBM,
Intel and Toshiba are founding the Bluetooth® Special Interest Group (SIG). In the
same year, LinTech joins the SIG as the first German medium-sized company.

2000
At the CeBIT in Hanover LinTech presented the first Bluetooth® solution: The
Bluetooth® S0 Connector Lic10/10+ (for the wireless connection to the ISDN
extension) and the Bluetooth® Serial Connector Lsc10/10+ (wireless connection
to the serial interface).

2003
Presentation of the first Bluetooth® in car adapter for retrofitting of car handsfree
sets with Bluetooth® connectivity. The following types are equipped with display,
DSP and other comfort features as well as with individual Bluetooth® handsfree
sets. Launching of the first Bluetooth® serial adapters and industrial adapters for
the RS-232 interface which distinguish himself by simple integration into existing
systems. This way LinTech was able to make a name for itself as Bluetooth®
development partner for the industry.

2004
The Bluetooth® industrial adapters of the second generation contain various profiles
and already dispose of an approval so that industrial customers can equip their
products with Bluetooth® with considerably less expenses and cost. The presentation
of the worldwide first car Bluetooth® adapter with SIM Access Profile and integrated
GSM module with which you can phone via the car antenna system with your mobile
phone switched off.

2005
Development and approval of a complete range of products of Bluetooth® serial
adapters and industrial adapters according to the new Bluetooth® standard 2.0.
Development of the first universal Bluetooth® module “LinTech Blue IM_XT” which
directly accesses the UART-Interface of a system. You can equip different devices
simply with Bluetooth® connectivity.

2006
Presentation of the first Bluetooth handsfree unit with concurrent connection to the car sound system for receiving wireless audio data in stereo quality.
Introduction of the first Bluetooth handsfree unit with display, menu control and display of mobile phone information. Introduction of an adaptor family for the connection of the Bluetooth handsfree adaptor at the loudspeakers or the car sound system.
Introduction of own onlineshop system for LinTech products on the Internet as well as distribution at eBay.

2007
Presentation of the first universal Bluetooth interface for different vehicle bus systems (CAN, MOST, LIN).
Sales of the LinTech products also about amazon.de and introduction of a configuration software for traders and end customers to find the suitable solution for vehicle.. Presentation of the first Bluetooth HiFi interface for the stereo audio transference from the mobile phone or PC to the sound system in the car or at home.

2008
Introduction BlueMPI 3.0 for simplistic integration of Bluetooth on embedded systems. BlueMPI 3.0 - Bluetooth® multiprofiles interface - innovative software for Bluetooth® chips and Host controller systems.
Presentation and market launch of the world-smallest Bluetooth ® handsfree unit with smallest interfacebox. With it there are no place problems with the installation of handsfree unit.
